American Sign Language volunteer needed in Queens to visit weekly with a homebound older adult! This opportunity may also be done virtually.
Friendly Visiting is a volunteer-based program that provides friendship and social engagement for older adults through one-on-one relationships. Some older adults want an in-person visit and others prefer telephone or video visits. This is flexible, based on your preference as well.
We are seeking volunteers 18+ who want to make a difference in the life of an older adult. We ask for a commitment of 6 months or longer, for one hour per week.
