ABOUT CLUB 2600:

Club 2600 is a monthly socialization party for Holocaust survivors. These welcoming gatherings include interactive presentations, raffles, meals, and musical entertainment. These gatherings help Holocaust survivors socialize and build relationships. There is also a social worker and case management staff on-site to assist with any requests that may come up for services, or referrals.   

Volunteer Time Commitment: Day-of Event  10:30 AM – 3:30 PM 

Volunteer Requirements: 

  • Complete a background check, to be conducted by NYC Aging
  • Complete a brief interview with program coordinators
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Volunteer Tasks: 

  • Event Set-Up 
  • Attendee Check-In  
  • Escort attendees into the gathering, upon arrival 
  • Socialize with attendees during the event 
  • Attendee Check out 

Location: Midwood/Flatbush Brooklyn, NY 11230 

Training: Training and task overview will be provided onsite upon arrival.
